Best meal I’ve had in decades. I enjoyed the pork shank while others in our party had meatballs, goose liver “ cannolis” , veal cheeks and bone marrow with pasta. Everything prepared to perfection with nothing over spiced. Ample servings. Desserts were terrific. Our party ordered 2 extra to bring home.

No wonder others rave about this place. This was my first time dining in this fine eatery and the experience met the hype! The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Every course is prepared to perfection! Highly recommend The Cookery!

My partner and I had the sweetest server. Wish we got her name. We overheard that she’s new but she’s doing really great. Food was fantastic. Drinks were so good too! We will definitely be regulars from now on <3

The food here was so delicious. The canolis, the stuffed clams, the radiatorre, the osso bucco, the cookie tray. Everything was incredible. Oh yeah! My cocktail -- the Black Manhattan -- that was worth ordering two. If you're looking for INCREDIBLE food not far from the city, this is the spot. The Michellin guide got this one right.

Everything was great - the food delish, our server was friendly and responsive, and the atmosphere cool. Not a great menu for vegetarians but the cauliflower pasta was awesome and the branzino absolutely amazing. Yes, we eat fish out…. Also, they have Larry’s Liquids beer on draft - So good! Plus the salty and buttery potatoes were phenomenal and the stickabutter pie beyond good. We’ll be back!

Amazing food and service — definitely coming back! The bread was super fresh, the pork was crispy and flavorful, and the lamb pasta was delicious. Every dish was amazing! The Bloody Margarita was pretty spicy and strong, too!

My soon to be husband and I celebrated our 10‑year anniversary here, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by warm, welcoming staff who set the tone for a perfect night. Our server, the beautiful and genuinely radiant Laura J, greeted us with a smile that didn’t fade once throughout the entire evening. She recommended my entrée—the Pork Osso Buco—and it was absolutely incredible. I can see exactly why it’s her favorite. Everything from the delicious Black Manhattans to our starters of whipped honey ricotta crostinos and stuffed baked clams was outstanding. Then came the main event: my pork, which was fall‑apart tender, and his Branzino, which melted in your mouth. Every dish was a hit. This is a restaurant I’ll be returning to again and again. But as someone who works in customer service, I have to highlight what truly made the night exceptional: Laura J. Her attention to detail was flawless, her energy was warm and genuine, and she delivered 10‑out‑of‑10 service to every table she touched. I knew she was going to be great the moment I saw those colorful nails—she had that ‘I take pride in everything I do’ vibe, and she proved it all night. Amazing atmosphere, incredible food, and outstanding customer service—what more could you ask for.

Great time with my wife. Servers were attentive and friendly. Answered all the questions for the menu. Quality food and great portion size for the price. Drinks were great as well.

Absolutely love The Cookery. It’s our go-to for a special occasion meal. The fresh mozzarella is not to be missed, and the lamb pasta (a menu mainstay) is a favorite. (The leftovers taste just as good the next morning, too!) I’ve also had some phenomenal specials. Always innovative with ingredients and preparations you won’t find anywhere else around here. Every time I make sure to take some of the entree to go in order to have room for dessert. The stickabutta pie is so deliciously rich and decadent, and their specials are always interesting (they really excel at panna cottas and crème brûlées with unexpected flavor combos). Laura has been our waitress the past several times we’ve gone, and we’re always glad to see her. She is so attentive — friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She makes great recommendations. The host, Marc, is lovely as well. I can’t say enough good things about The Cookery (or its sister restaurant The Parlor). Thank you for always making us feel so welcome — not to mention well-fed!

We visited this gastro pub recently in search of yummy comfort food and it didn't disappoint. The bread appetizer was out of this world. We had the pork osso bucco (also delicious) and the lamb entree too. Overall the meal was exactly how we had hoped it would he. Just yummy, comfort food in an unpretentious welcoming environment. The service was exceptional too. I'd love to return and try the pig they carve up for brunch someday in the future
